琥珀 (こはく)
Bio
Sango's younger brother. He was manipulated by Naraku into wounding Sango and killing much of the rest of his family. Though initially presumed dead, he has since reappeared as a mindless puppet under Naraku's control.

Kohaku's name means 'amber'.
Current status
Kohaku, finally free of Naraku's control, is now assisting Kikyou, of all people, in her plans to destory Naraku. Though it's assumed that only the Shikon shard in his back is keeping him alive, there still hasn't been any real evidence that he can't survive without it.
