The Monsters

Monster skill lists are definitely not complete now and may never get there, since I'm not sure how the game decides when most of the skills are learned. Some come automatically with the class, but others only appear later, or replace existing skills, and those are the tricky ones.


All capsule monsters have immunity to paralysis, confusion, sleep, poison, and silence. Attacks that affect MP will also not work on them, since they have none. All capsule monsters inflict typeless damage with their normal attacks; only their special attacks have elements.

The neutral monster appropriately has no weaknesses or resistances. The monster's special attacks are typeless, which means they will inflict the usual amount of damage against all but the handful of enemies that resist typeless damage.

Skill effect data is based on the Odds and Ends FAQ by Heavyarms, and needs additional verification.

Note that critical hits ignore enemy defense power. Anything that doesn't multitarget picks a random enemy target (for offensive and debilitating skills) or a random non-monster ally target (for healing and support skills). Capsule monsters can only target themselves when using entire-party skills.

Some capsule monsters share attack names with each other. Such attacks have different effects depending on which monster uses them.

The problem with situational moves is that capsule monsters have no concept of situation and will misuse them constantly.
