Supposedly, these were designed as giant viruses. The "ium" sounds microbial enough, I suppose. "Papilium" (Latin for "butterfly") is another possibility for the name, but the phonetics don't seem to be quite close enough, let alone the meaning.

Perhaps the intent was to double the amount healed, but because of how trait priority works, it doesn't do that. It does, however, prevent Edgar's Weakmaker from removing the absorption, for what that's worth.

It dies with no MP left, yet has so little to begin with. Expect Raspir to kill it instantly.

This monster appears only once, using a formation that cannot appear on the Beast Plain instead of an otherwise mostly equivalent one that can, presumably due to an oversight. This prevents Gau from ever legitimately learning the Rage.

Also, since I somehow overlooked this for the longest time, I'll point out that the NA version name, Allo Ver, is just "all over" with the space moved. It always made me think of "aloe vera" instead, though, which I can't imagine is what they were going for.
