It's odd that the Frying Pan is listed with the swords and knives. It isn't one (unless it's a really strange pan!), but it even has the sword icon in-game.

There may be a slight pun... ふり回す (furimawasu) can refer to abusing power as well as waving a weapon around. I suspect they more likely meant that the danger has less to do with the knife itself and more to do with upsetting someone enough to wave it around in the first place, though.

Capsule monsters often love to eat these, for whatever reason. Think about buying some extras.

I prefer "Knife of Light" to "Light Knife" since that way makes it plain that "light" is the noun related to brightness and not the adjective related to weight.

The NA version name change was apparently careless, as it gave this sword the same name as the Blood Sword. Other English releases (Australia, Great Britain, possibly elsewhere?) reportedly call it (and the monsters that drop it) Lethal Sword to avoid that, but still use Deadly Armor for the related Killer Armor. They'd have done better to just rename the Blood Sword instead. That way would have taken less effort, yet resulted in better consistency.

Also called a hand-and-a-half sword, the bastard sword is a straight two-edged sword larger than a one-handed sword, but smaller than a two-handed one. The name comes because it's sort of the bastard offspring of both sizes.

Despite the description, this game has no two-handed weapons.

The 雪女 (yuki onna), something like a female ice elemental, comes from Japanese mythology. Basically a snow spirit, inhumanly pale, possibly with no feet, more often evil or at least unfriendly than not, sometimes with vampiric or succubus-like qualities, though sometimes with a softer side.

I suspect that this isn't "rainy" as in "rain", but rather a type of axe or a similar-sounding name. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any likely candidates.

こんごう (kongou), an older term for diamond, also refers to the thunder god Vajra's weapon.

The morning star is a weapon that combines bludgeoning with piercing by putting spikes on a metal head. Sources differ as to whether a morning star is a particular type of mace, with the head attached directly to the handle, or more like a flail, with the head attached to the handle by a short chain.

A wand is short and thin, and used in fantasy to amplify or store magic. It seems an unlikely choice for a striking weapon, since it's simply too small to cause much damage, and too thin to take the strain. Might work to poke a few eyes out, though...

A flail, as a weapon, has one or more blunt objects, usually spiked metal balls, attached to the handle by chains.

Interestingly, 鞭 (muchi), the Japanese word for a whip, can also translate as rod. It basically refers to anything used to strike an animal to get it moving, or to flog uncooperative people.

As described, a trident has three prongs at the end of a spear shaft. In Western mythology, they are the weapons of choice for mermen.

Though similar to a spear, a halberd also has an axe-like blade by the point, and usually a hook or point on the back of the blade. It functions much like both spears and axes, and the hook can drag opponents to the ground.

A lance is a spear specifically adapted for use in mounted combat.

水虎 (suiko, literally "water tiger"), is another name for the kappa, a type of mythical Japanese water creature.

Compare to the Fig spell. オルゴール comes from the Dutch word orgel. The NA name looks like an attempt at a direct transliteration, truncated.
