Here's the armors portion of the item list. Everything appears in the order the game stores them internally. Items are briefly explained as needed. Note that while most are grouped with by type, the end of the list has a wide variety of unsorted armors.
For brevity's sake, on this page I'm shortening magic defense to MDef, evade rate to evade, magic evade rate to MEvd, and magic power to magic.
Every 8 weight is equivalent to -1 agility.
Prevents xxx: When equipped, the wearer is immune to the listed status effect. Note that some effects ignore immunity.
Always xxx: When equipped, the wearer always has the listed status effect, regardless of immunity (?).
Trait up means the wielder gains a 50% bonus to A when using magic attacks of that trait.
Weak to trait: When the wearer is hit by the listed trait, A is doubled and D is set to 0.
Immune to trait: The wearer takes no damage from the listed trait.
Halves trait: When the wearer is hit by the listed trait, A is halved.
Absorbs trait: When the wearer is hit by the listed trait, D is set to 0 and the wearer is healed instead of damaged.
I'm not sure how multiple effects on the same trait stack...

The high defense and status
immunities can be very helpful, but being Undead is highly risky. Healing
becomes a real problem, since most curative effects will cause damage instead.
Even worse, if the character goes down, there's no way of recovering before
the battle ends—reviving items and abilities simply don't work. On the plus
side, Note that all effects of being Undead only apply during combat. You can heal as usual in the field without changing equipment. Abilities that can heal Undead include White Wind and
the Sylph summon. Wearing a Protect Ring also provides periodic healing
despite the 'regenerate' immunity. Poison
