While the alternate name that the speaker refers to Robo by is a clear reference to Prometheus, it's missing the 'u'. The speaker has a bit of a feminine tone, but the smattering of katakana resembles Robo's speech, suggesting that the speaker is a similar being. The inner door opens, and the outer door shuts behind them. The next room has a large conveyor belt. |

Groups of robots attack one after another as the party crosses the conveyor belt. This is a good spot to gain experience. The Debugger Plus (Debuggest) and Version 4.0 (Proto 4) appear on the conveyor belt, and other areas of the dome feature the Laser Site (Laser Guard). All are mildly weak against Aether and have no other vulnerabilities or resistances. My experience suggests that Laser Sites will blow up in your face if hit for less than 400 damage, and that they sometimes shoot each other to trigger the effect. On the far side, the voice speaks again. |

The characters following Robo will actually walk to stay in place when they're on the conveyor belt and he's off it and not moving. Interesting that the programmers bothered with this detail. This occurs anywhere that there's a conveyor belt, incidentally, but this is the first place I specifically noticed it. The voice comes on again after the first battle won in the next area. |

The dome contains a dust chute to one side that returns to the entrance, robots all over, and everything the computer mentions. One of the pods locks in one of the dolls, and opens only with the correct combination of three switches (seven possibilies, easy to find by trial-and-error). In a hallway upstairs (check the corner for a Power Capsule), the voice comes on again. |

Reversing the conveyor belt lets Robo reach the last pod quickly enough to open another door and gain access to a docile guard robot that follows him around (if slowly and awkwardly). Bringing it to the active guard robot does indeed disable it, giving access to the other doll. Futher in, a pink Robo-like robot with a large blue ribbon approaches, and "Silent Light" plays. |

"Boss Battle 1" plays, but this is really just a survival battle. Atropos 145 (Atropos XR) will use all of Robo's skills once each, one after another, starting with the first one, with two exceptions. She uses Cure Beam instead of Heal Beam, and she keeps repeating Circle Bomb once she gets to that point. It's Fire-based, so if Robo has Ruby Armor (or Red Plate), you can safely laugh at this. Also note that her version of Robo Tackle will halve Robo's current HP. Atropos 145 has standard defenses. After several Circle Bombs, or if Robo does enough damage beforehand, Atropos explodes some more and collapses, and the battle ends. |

It's a boss fight. Each of the three Displays will periodically heal Mother Brain (MotherBrain) of 1,000 damage, but they can't do anything else and are extremely fragile. Breaking all the Displays removes the healing, but it also enables Mother Brain's most devestating attacks. Keep attacking with skills, and she'll go down fairly quickly either way. Mother Brain has an attack that causes confusion, so wear protection. Each Display has one hit point, so any attack will destroy it. If you decide to leave a Display alive, note that area attacks against Mother Brain hit the middle one, so leave one of the side ones instead. All targets have normal defenses. Ayla can steal an Elixir from each Display and a rare Blue Plate from Mother Brain. |

Well, at least the humans of the ruined future don't have to worry about being systematically hunted down any more. That's an impact of sorts, even if the idea is still to avert this future entirely. |
