And so begins a timed side event. Run around the castle (use Dash Shoes!) and talk to every soldier there, except for the two in the throne room, who don't count. Skip treasure hunting for now, since all the items will still be there for the taking after dinner. The game keeps a running count of time remaining and soldiers spoken to. Many are quite content to stand down, but others will attack instead. They aren't particularly powerful, but the timer keeps running during battle, so have strong magic or defense-ignoring attacks ready to finish them off quickly. Get them all to improve scoring for the event. There are a total of 24 soldiers that count, four of whom attack. You get 1 point for each solder spoken to, plus an extra 5 for each battle won, for a total of 44 possible points in this part.
